Focus Club

Focus club – ‘A Literary Visual Collective’ has been active in our college since 2010. It aims to give students an insight in to fields of literature, theatre, cinema, poetry and photography by organising workshops, discussions, screening world’s best movies, documentaries and so on. The club was a brain child of one of our college’s retired English professor Dr. Sukanya. She along with other staff members introduced this club in our college to make the students to be more creative and to have access to the areas which are normally out of academic curriculum. The club was inaugurated by noted director of Kannada cinema Sri T.S Nagabharana. Since then the focus club has been conducting various activities on the subjects of literature, theatre, cinema, poetry and photography.
